You know a show is "big" when...

Recommended Posts

When you can't hear the brass line blowing their brains out over the crowd (SCV '89, Madison '95).

When the crowd gives you a standing ovation, the announcer announces you as if the show were done, and you STILL have another minute and a half to go!

This happened I think in Louisiana in 2003

My favorite memory from marching Kavaliers '03. =)

That was indeed in Baton Rouge. I still remember that show. My daughter's first drum corps experience. We were in the upper deck of Tiger Stadium (so you can imagine how high that was) and it was STILL too loud for her!

Great show too! Your performance was WONDERFUL.

I was just about to jump in and correct Alex with the KK 2003 show comment. To have the whole stands in Tiger Stadium on their feet and hear the announcer, and still have the closer to play. Best feeling I have ever felt. That was just one of those shows. Thanks for bringing it up Alex!

When there are standing ovations and screams in the show.

2003 Phantom Regiment redefines the bar of Standing Ovation.

You need to see some more shows. :)

I've seen everyone one of them. Whew many hours of fun.

But that's the standing o that sticks out of the finals I've been to from 96-05
