People start throwing things onto the field for the whole last minute of the show (Garfield '84)

What were those things, anyway? They look like hairnets.

Kinda touching on that sort of but I haven't noticed at finals in sometime that people aren't throwing streamers of corps colors for quite some time, is it something dci requested to not do?

kinda weird saying one from my own show, but it confussed us to know end on the field throughout the season, up until about the last week or so of tour.

We would get to the Canon reprise, and just be blowing our brains out, and the crowd would just sit there and make NO sound what-so-ever. After a while, the corps members began to think something was up, and I asked one of the alternates that was in the stands for a show what was going on. He replied that when we hit that part of the show there was just nothing to be said, or done, you just had to watch. (Regiment 03)

Not to say that my show was that great, but when the crowd is too enthralled to respond...now that's a great show. In my mind, there is no greater compliment

Concerning our standing ovation at the end of our finals performance, remmember - few people had seen quarters, and it was only the third time we did the full ending, so it was pretty new, and the crowd was on fire.

If memory serves, the DCI Live recording becomming a bit distorted at the end there. =)

Greatest crowd response in my mind is between: Spirit 1980, Madison 1988 and 1995, Regiment 1989, 1993, and 1996, and Cavaliers 2002.
