When creating a list alphabetically

I've noticed this a couple of times... when I want to say A), B), C), D) etc. the B always comes up as the emoticon with the shades on. Is there anyway to not do this? I've tried keeping the b in lower case, but even that doesn't work.

Three ways to fix this.

1) don't use A, B, C, etc.

2) if you want to the letters, check the "Enable emoticon?" box and that won't allow ANY emoticons to show in your post or

3) just do a "B )" , a space between the B and ).

Put a space between the B and the bracket, as in B ). That works for me.

Of course that throws off the whole uniformity of a point list, and since this is drum corps we're talking about uniformity goes without saying - doesn't it?

So, just add spaces between the letters and brackets all the way down the list.

Or.. we could request that the emoticon tag be changed to have : on either side so we can actually use the B ) without having to contort ourselves to do so!

I think that's a function only Rich or another administrator can adjust for us.

Many moons ago, Mike New had talked about bringing in new emoticons, but others that we have currently would be eliminated.

I know we had a thread where people posted which emoticons they were ok with losing

Wouldn't using a "," (coma) instead of ")" (bracket) also work? As in A, B, C, (Just a thought)

B) (I use this emoticon with every post)

Just use numbers for your bullet points instead of letters
