leadsop97 Posted March 8, 2006 Share Posted March 8, 2006 I was watching the Div II/III finals DVD, and I was watching Impulse, and it made me think of how far this corps has come in the last 6 years. I thoroughly enjoyed their show last year and notice somethign new every time I watch it. The drumline was one of the best out there IMO, and the hornline played some pretty sweet jazzy licks. The soloist was great, and their visual program was there as far as I could see. They remind me alot of Madison from the 90s. Doing what needs to be done to score well but still just as entertaining if not more entertaining than the rest. That being said, great job last year Impulse. Looking forward to more progress this year. The same can be said for other corps as well. ECJ and Spartans have come a long way since 2000 when they didn't make finals. Surf's shows have gotten progressively better since 2002. Hopefully the trend will continue as we see corps in our divisions step it up more this year. Good luck everyone.
