bddavidson
even Kenosha and Oshkosh ? Well sure, we can even include the entire Fox River Valley if you'd like. Foot of the Lake (Fond Du Lac), Appleton, etc...We certainly wont discriminate as to that which we call a 'burb of Racine. Even if you wanted to include Pleasant Prarie, Sommers, and the like we wont be picky. I hope this helps answer your question ea1974. bill
With the addition of new percussion battery equipment being issued at The Kilties upcoming camp, the addition of opportunities also open. The Kilties will be opening up to add two additional snare drummers. Kiltie Percussion Caption Head/Arranger, Mr. Chris (CT) Thompson will be "in house" to evaluate the talent for those auditioning. If you are a drummer that likes to play a lot of notes in the tasteful and challenging arranging style of "CT" Thompson, and have the talent. You may have a home with The Kilties. The Kilties are holding the full corps rehearsal camp on Saturday, March 25th from 1PM to 9(10)PM and Sunday, March 26th from 10AM to 3PM. These rehearsal sessions are for color guard, brass and percussion. Rehearsals will be held at our home base site located at: Gilmore Middle School 2330 Northwestern Avenue Racine, WI The start time for the color guard will be at 10AM on Saturday, March 25th. The earlier color guard start time is non-mandatory, but color guard members are encouraged to arrive for the 10AM warm-up session, which will be followed by a lunch break before the full corps rehearsals begin at 1PM. Additonal music for The Kilties 2006 70th Anniversay Production will be distributed at this camp, and at this point in time, all indications are the vast percentage of the music, if not all, will then be in the members' hands for the 2006 Production titled "Through Plaid Colored Glasses". Applications are still being accepted for membership. Membership for color guard caption will be closed in April. Membership for the brass and percussion may be closed after this upcoming camp. Some sections in some captions are already closed. The Kilties are an All-Age format and Coed. Special membership site is located HERE!! Online applications accepted. *Character*Honor*Excellence*Tradition* Matter of days now!!!
