"Corps; Drum and Bugle (Mini); One Each" Has a Name

Recommended Posts

By a unanimous vote, we have decided to call ourselves the Chattahoochee Vanguard. Unless we decide otherwise, our colors will be blue, green, and white. When I figure out how to do it (you know how these dad-burn contraptions are!), I'll use our logo as my avatar. Hopefully, we'll be ready to "enter the field/stage/whatever for competiton" in 2007. :)

from where

The rehearsal site is Lithia Springs, GA, which is in Douglas County, west of Atlanta. We're just getting up and running, so it'll be next year before we compete in anything. I'm hoping we can get into some local parades and perhaps some "Taste of __________" somewhere around this year.

Well, David didn't want to spend alllll that time in the heat. He'd rather just practice inside. :P

Just joshin' :D

In fact, a competitive corps schedule is still too busy for some folks. Dacid is trying to meet a need, and provide a place for folks without the field time to dedicate the opportunity to play Drum Corps literature and enjoy the activity.

More power to him!

(and he's an awfully cool guy, too. :P )

Welcome to the Dixie fold, but why not enter DCA Mini-Corps this year? You'd have a blast Labor Day weekend in Ra-cha-cha! Everything from corps "from parts unknown" to Crunchy Frogs. Do it!
