ScribeToo
In Galen's defense, Pioneer did not use amps in Decatur, probably due to the the threat of rain. With all due respect, he would have seen them at Indy, as well. In the dome. Without threat of rain. :) Stef

John Mayer
Thanks to all. I started this because I saw the Cavies and BD up close and noticed they had more sound equipment then most rock bands, and started to wonder if this was normal or over the edge. I wondered how much money in equipment was on the timp trailer 5 timp 1 generator 1,8 channel sound board 5 michs lots of wires lots of mallets 1 player 1 lawn tractor pulling (not on the trailer) when is it too much? When THEY decide it is to much to haul around on the truck or is too expensive. Last I checked, neither corps has starving members or threadbare uniforms. bscontra
I don't think the Blue Stars were amped until they added the narration. And even now, I think that it's just the voice that's amped, not the pit. not true they have the pit mic'd and they have had amps since the first show I saw them at mich city !! pit is well miced and mixed !
