Phansouth
If PR's within a point of the leaders tomorrow night, they have a shot. If the margin is 1.1 or greater, then I'm going to be pretty skeptical, unless we get a VERY friendly panel Saturday night.

While I know that 96 was an exception and definitely not the norm, we were 3.7 out of first after qrtrs and 1.4 out of first after semis. Crazy things can happen and that goes not only for regiment, but BD, Cavies, Coats and Cadets as well

Crazy things can happen and that goes not only for regiment, but BD, Cavies, Coats and Cadets as well Yeah, but I really think that the ball was dropped by the Quarterfinals judges that year. I mean, Regiment had been creeping up on the Devils all summer long, and at the last show before Quarters, the spread was only 0.9. I was there at Quarters that year, and while the corps had a somewhat offnight (when compared to their Finals run, I suppose), it was still not 3.7 away from Devils in my (biased) opinion. isuquinndog
It's hard to win in 3rd. MATH, PEOPLE!!! And they were 4th after Quarters in 1996.
Phan Doris
PR's winning will put an even happier ending to their show's happy ending. :) Besides, Regiment has an encore concert to die for. :P
WOOHOO
And they were 4th after Quarters in 1996. It was meant to be a joke. Sure, it wasn't that funny, so next time, I'll include this :P to clear up any confusion.
