DCImonkey
So....how would I go about getting my grubby paws on a 1992 Bushwackers video? Thanks
doppeljr
You can probably get information at www.dcacorps.org or from the Bushwackers directly at www.bushwackers.org.
DCImonkey
Thanks.....:) Apologies for misspelling the corps name in the title of this thread. I was thinking about something else :P
Fran Haring
So....how would I go about getting my grubby paws on a 1992 Bushwackers video? Thanks If you can, get a tape of their 1992 prelims show, if one is available anywhere. That, to date, was the best one-show performance I have ever seen from a senior/all-age corps. Absolutely flawless. Fran

(I do not believe there is a copy of prelims but do as Dave recommended above). 1992 was a great season and an even more incredible Labor day weekend in 1992. Glad to have a Bushwacker performance of such magnitude in the history books. All of us from the 1992 Bushwackers thank you for the kind comments Fran! That design team had a unique bond that was wonderful to work with and perform for! My wife and I recently saw the "Sweeny Todd" revival on Broadway! Go see it before it closes! Fran Haring
1992 was a great season and an even more incredible Labor day weekend in 1992. Glad to have a Bushwacker performance of such magnitude in the history books. Man.... that day in '92, Ed Cagney (DCA PR director at that time) and I were sitting together, watching Bush's Prelims performance. About halfway through, he turned to me and said something like "can you BELIEVE what we're seeing here?" I mean, it was awesome. I think Bush won Prelims by about a point and a half that day. Honest to God, they could have won by five points and no one who watched their performance would have disagreed. Fran

Fran i agree...it's in my top 3 of all time. simply put, for 11 minutes or so, this corps went to a place few get to....think Phantom 96. when they were done, you had no concept of time, if you were hungry, if it was raining or not....but you knew for 11 minutes this corps owned you in a way few ever do
TchMuzk
Thanks alot Jeff. I knew we were "ON" that afternoon, and I've heard people talk about how amazing we were, but I've never heard it put quite like that!
