A major NYC paper chose to let today go without a front page mention and another reduced it to a mere little corner box on the front page. Very few radio stations in the area did much this morning either, and those that received a few phone calls from listeners saying "It was time to let it go" or "Can't we just move on". Remembering, discussing, watching ~ it might make you feel sad and uncomfortable ~ but it makes you FEEL. Staying numb, ignoring, and most of all, forgetting, to me, 7 years later, that's the continued tragedy. I was really thrown by what I saw and heard this morning.
