Sept. 11th Tribute

In 2002, George Dixon had a tribute created for Sept 11th, and it's been run pretty much every year.

Now, with all the server changes and stuff like that, I don't know if it's been moved or become unavailable, but is it possible to have this found and posted for the 5th anniversary of this tragic day?

It never fails to move me, and is a touching Drum Corps tribute to the events of that day.

Thanks.

I'll get with Mike New and/or George to see what the tribute included. I should have the content in the archives.

Thanks for the thought.

UPDATE: I found the files in the archive and have moved them up to the server. Look for the Tribute on the DCP Front Page on Monday. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention.

John:

Never a problem. I figured if I were thinking about it, 50 were wondering as well, and I've never been accused of not opening my mouth.

Thanks. Feel free to close this topic.

The September 11th Tribute presentation has been posted to the Front Page of Drum Corps Planet.

Our sincere thanks to George Dixon and Fran (Cascade Mama) of Quest Graphics Design for the work they did in creating this presentation .... and to Jeff Spanos and the Madison Scouts for their permission to use the recording of their performance of "You'll Never Walk Alone".
