Michael Boo
I love "Where Are They Now" features. :D I've done a handful for the Fanfare column and would love to do more. If anyone out there knows how to reach any of the folks readers have mentioned or if you are one of them, please contact me at boomike@dci.org. Many thanks. geneseo_bari_87
Yep, his name was Doug Steinbrech, and he was also the D.M. in 1987. ...and a groomsman in my wedding. I believe he is a surgeon in NYC now. Haven't talked to him in 10 years or so.

SkyRyder_FMM
Who played Dorothy for Sky in their show Wizard of Oz in 1988? Who is she and what is she doing now? We didn't perform Wizard of Oz in 88 (that was the Sound of Music). And there was an entire line of Dorthys in 85 and 86 when we did Oz. There was a "lead" Dorthy. Denise (her last name escapes me at this time) in 85 and Ann Duncan in 86.

uncle z
Are you talking about Paul J Schneider? He's a current Board member for the Americanos and still lives in Appleton... Paul Schneider got his start as a 13 year-old drum major for the 1974 West Bend Patriots. I've got a picture of that around here somewhere. :sshh:
2CoolVK
Where is Dan Potter? he was news director for WBAP but not so much now. You're kidding right? He announces all the Texas DCI shows, has his own podcast on DCI.org, MCs all the interviews at the major shows and does the same for BOA including announcing at Grand Nationals with Chuck Henson. He's also the host of Breaking Ranks with Dan Potter on bands.org. He's still doing radio in Dallas.
