NanciD
I have a bunch of oldies saved to the "my pictures" folder on the PC. But I am unsure of how to post them on here. Could someone help me out? Hi Jimmy! I use http://www.flickr.com/ it's a free and easy service to use and it saves space on DCP.

Could someone help me out? Hi Jimmy! I use http://www.flickr.com/ it's a free and easy service to use and it saves space on DCP. Jim, Some of the folks here (on DCP) that post their photos in the threads use one of the photo hosting sites and copy and paste the URL into their post. (there by posting the photo instead of a link to it, like NanciD's photos) The instructions on "How To" are on each of the photo hosting sites. As NanciD stated, posting your photos into the DCP thread (rather than a link to them on another site like www.flickr.com) does take up more of DCP's servers space. A VERY cool place to see MANY of Drum Corps "History" in photos, check out the "some old corps photos, add yours!" thread here; http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...showtopic=62667 (OK, 867 pages is a lot to go through, it took me over a week back when there were only about 650 pages to go through that thread it is VERY worth it...IMHO) Here are some of the replies to that question when I asked back on 12/17/05. (Thanks Stef & Danielle) http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...showtopic=73399 The most popular, ones used by DCP members, seems to be http://photobucket.com/ and http://imageshack.us/. (though there are several more hosting sites out there) http://imageshack.us/ is the one I use.... Hope some of this helps... Head Animal
Westshorehttp://farm1.static.flickr.com/140/3671637...101287b56_o.jpg What year did they do this? (note the reel to reels down front) hehe Believe I can confirm Boom Boom's previous suggestion of 1980 Nanci. That's me anchoring the left side of the snare line with Danny Magamen and Vinnie Colletti to my left. You can see Ron Churchs face just to the right of the American flag and that was the last year he marched. "Disco" Denny is anchoring the right side. If the pic could be pulled back you might be able to see the sleeping white doves being hurled into the air!!!

I concur with Dave....1980 was the last year we "marched" tymps, and I remember painting those blasted things that ugly gray/silver and maintaining the pinstriping! Jeez....I was so young back then!!!!
