That rules out 1980 unless WSM got 2 valvers late in the season after I left the corps March 1980 (day after Serenade in Brass). Corps had whole horn line outfitted with two valves by 1984 when I came back. Too bad Jeff isn't posting he could tell when the corps stopped wearing these unis. Edit: Just looked again and either he's wearing a cape or a wierd shadow on the right (his left). OK, I get confused anyway. Wow, just realized the first time the corps hit top 5 until they dropped out of Finals was only four seasons (1980-1983). Just seems like so #### much went on in that short period of time. Next time at Finals wasn't 1988 :( (Owe Ron a drink 'cause I used his site as a memory boost.)
