Jeff Ream Posted December 16, 2006 Share Posted December 16, 2006 Here is the full announcement for the 2007 Westshoremen Alumni Corps We will be rehearsing in our adopted home of Susquehanna Twp HS in Harrisburg PA for the 3 camps which are as follows: Sunday 01/21/2007 12-4 PM Sunday 2/25/2007 12-4 PM Sunday 3/25/2007 12-4 PM. doors open at 11 am all days our world tour begins and concludes on Saturday, April 14th at Serenade in Brass at the lovely Forum Building in Harrisburg PA. We will be rehearsing from 10 am to 1 pm that day. other rehearsals will be scheduled if needed. percussion, at least battery will be rehearsing the night before the show. We will announce further details. Uniform is has been for returning members, new members can purchase shirts at rehearsal for $25 our official repertoire is: Grand Old Flag America The Beautiful All the Things You Are Strawberry Soup Blues In The Night. percussion spots are tight, and we always welcome more brass. for more info visit www.fivestarbrass.com/westshore. come on out and check out the corps that works the least but sounds among the best! I'm thinking.... since the pit doesn't have any parts to play for "America The Beautiful"...... perhaps at the end of the tune we can do the "Iwo Jima flag-raising" pose. Then again.... perhaps not.
