My Chemical Romance

Recommended Posts

My Chemical Romance is artist of the month on Comcast.

Their new album is titled "The Black Parade"

The single, "Welcome to the Black Parade" is the story of a dying patient who is ushered across into death by his fondest memory which happens to be a Marching Band his father took him to see as a child.

In an interview on the making of the video the drummer for the band, Bob Bryar, mentions he was in the marching band and also Drum Corps.

He is from the chicago area, anyone know who he may have marched with?

Cheers.

I don't think there has been any new "rock" put out in a long long time. A lot of today's bands are annoying, whiny, emo boy bands, like the Backstreet Boys and NSync, but with tighter pants, and black hair.

I'm not sure if it's me getting old (hope not) but I really don't like a lot of the new popular music. Some of it is okay, but most is just blah.

I have to say that this decade has been a let down compared to the 90's for popular rock.
