727driver
My favorite performing memory is still finals in Madison in 92. Regardless of the spectator conditons, it was so fun to perform there every year. Love Madison. Anybody see the San Diego drum corps show in 96 and know what that stadium was? It was a small concrete bowl and the accoustic just rocked. Way fun.
raphael18
Driver's Perspective - Best Ever - Arrowhead. Miles of easy access parking right there at the stadium. Worst Ever - Toss up between Orlando Citrus Bowl, Camp Randall (though I LOVE watching there), and the Quarry in Burlington, IA.......if you ever did the Burlington show you know what I mean! Wow, I will second that worst ever for Orlando (in lots of ways - I never want to go back to that stadium!)...it was a nightmare for me, and I was just trying to get the cook crew's 27 foot RV in there. However, I present Allentown for your consideration. That was absolutely insane until we got it all straightened out. Really small surface roads, lots of trees, and people everywhere. The other drivers that had been at Regiment since the late 80s spoke of Arrowhead with reverance - apparently that was nearly perfect in every way. Too bad we can never go back there.
