3rd Annual Texas Drum Corps Preview

We're still "GO" for the capitol. We have a weather window till 9 p.m.!

The Austin Stars Performing Arts Association and the honorable State Representative Donna Howard are proud to present the 3rd Annual Texas Drum Corps Preview, Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 7:30 P.M. on the south steps of the Texas State Capitol Building, Congress Avenue at 11th Street in Austin, Texas. Admission and parking are free.

Corps in attendance will be the Crossmen, Frontier, Gulf Coast Sound and the Austin Stars Brass Ensemble. Each corps will perform selections from their 2007 programs and at the end of the night, the hornlines of each corps will join together to play the state song “Texas, Our Texas” followed by “America The Beautiful”!

Bring your family, friends, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs and get ready for an incredible evening of color guard, brass and percussion in beautiful downtown Austin!

So glad this little event of ours is now in it's 3rd year and growing every year.

This event gets bigger and better every year. Can't wait to play to an even larger crowd than last year.

It absolutely blew me away how good the accoustics were up on the steps.

If you are anywhere near Austin, Texas at the time of this event it will be worth the effort to come to the preview!

Only 1 week until we pack the trailer for Austin!

Anyone making plans for socializing before or after the show?
