it's exciting to see how the Colts, Blue knights, and Crossmen matchup ends up. I thought last night the Crossmen should have been over Blue Knights in Glassboro.

For this Block I have it: Phantom, Crossmen, Colts, Blue Knights, Troopers, and Madison. I also feel bad for Phantom they should have been going on after the dinner break.

Looking at the recaps I see what might mean that colts are close to maxing out there show! In GE #1 performance higher than rep, Visual performance, content was lower than performance, Music Brass and music analysis where both equal.

Who is going to sit in the stands in this heat and how could you really enjoy the shows. Maybe DCI can sell it as a weight reduction plan. You can sweat off 10 pounds while enjoying your favorite corps.

I think the entire Texas tour other than San Antonio is in jeopardy.

Crossmen will not fall to 14TH! I see them in either 11th or 12th.

Political hog wash! They do the draw based on no cavies so 10th, 11th and twelfth became 11th, 12th, and thirteenth. Then they inserted Cavies so everyone below Cavies moved down a spot. Would DCI have done this for a Genesis or a Pacific crest?

I don't see Colts, Academy, or Troopers overtaking Crossmen. None of them have the demand that Crossmens show has! I see Crossmen finishing as either 11th or 12th based on what Blue Knights do.

It looked to me that Crossmen last night had several holes in the horn line. For example, the Tuba line had only 13 of the 16 that they have been marching. Does anyone know if they are encountering any health issues?

The weather for Saturday's nights show does not look good at all.

They should follow the covid protocol that baseball is following which isn one week until everyone tests negative. They don't want to spread this to the other corps. DCI needs to make sure the corps is safe!!!!

Just my opinion but I think it's Crossmen's to lose at this point! The last show Crossmen swept Colts in all sub captions and Colts even lost to music city in GE. I also did see the Troopers preview show and I don't see it as a finalist show. Troopers guard may be their weakest caption.

All corps have lost their identity from Blue Devels, Santa Clara, Bluecoats, Crown, Boston, and so on. I would suggest you get over it. The hole activity has changed!!!! I thought the performance was great given it was their first show and what I saw was a finalist level corps.

I won't donate if the money is going to pay to transport a bunch of props!

In Delaware county Pa the price of Deisel is now $4.899 per gallon and Gas regular is $4.199. It seems to go up daily. The price of a barrel of crude is approaching $120 which will translate to a higher price in the coming days. It is going to make it tough for those on a fixed income to get by on.

Fuel oil is now $4.499 in pa an increase of .30 in 2 days.

$4.20 today in Aston Pa was $3.79 just 3 days ago

As the situation in Ukraine worsens, I believe that the next sanction will be shutting of Russian oil and gas. If that happens the price of gas and oil will rise to a level that will make it tough to tour. In some places like California where the price is approaching $6 + you may be looking at $8 gas and close to $9 diesel. Some analysts are saying $6 on average is possible. It is not a good year to have raised the membership to 165. It may be smarter to reduce the membership that can fit on 3 buses and eliminate props and the size of the pits. The goal would be to reduce the size of the fleet which would reduce both insurance and fuel cost. DCI got creative last year maybe it's time to start thinking about some alternate plans. Remember it's not just the corps but also impact fans to make a very expensive trip just to attend a show. For me I was spending less than $40 to fill my gas tank which holds only 15 gallons, now it is costing close to $70.
