Jedicadet05 Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 So I just got back from watching Surf's ensemble @ their April Camp.... oh my **** I'm not on the DivII/III forums that much, but I know in DivI there's been a lot of talk about what "drum corps" really is or whatever. Let me tell you that Surf has one hell of a show this year and it has a deeeeeep drum corps feel to it. I got chills listening to their opener. I was looking forward to hearing the progress they've made on the rest of the show but alas, all I got was the opener. Can't wait to see Surf in the northeast this summer, either ... and in Pasadena. "Snapshots from an American Journey" is the next step in the corps journey. They're a very dedicated group of performers and a talented bunch. Can't wait to "catch the wave" at our home show.
