MJN
Thanks So many to choose from (many already noted), but I'll go with Tim Meehan BD, VK, Crossmen, SCV & BD again 1989-1994. John, did you age out after 89?? I thought I read somewhere that you were 16 in 87 -- did you march somewhere else??? How is Tim Meehan realted??? I'm really curious--what years did he march with what corps???

Kyasprin
After thinking about this topic for quite some time I have come up with a list of the top SOPRANO soloists from the activity between the years of 1972 and 1999. These are, in my opinion, in order and feature the best the activity has to offer.Jim Brady-Bridgemen 1977-1978 Jeff Kevitt-Muchachos 1973-1975 Chris Metzger-Madison Scouts 1973-1977 Adam Rapa-East Coast Jazz 1996-2000 Tom Meridith-Kilties 1973-1976 Jerry Noonan-North Star 1978-1982 Shaun Owens-Madison Scouts 1982-1984 Tony Gambaro-Avant Garde 1983-1985, Dutch Boy 1986 Greg Blum-Colts 1976-1982 Dave Halpren-Blue Devils 1986-1987, 1989 Too many other great players to mention in this short thread. I think it was very cool that in my list there were corps represented from all levels of the activity. i would add to that list John Schipper from 95 scouts and for sure tez smith from 96 scouts
TealMello08
I don't know his name, but my favorite is the euphonium soloist in '89 SCV definitly this guy, i wish the baritones at my hs realized that your actually supposed to have a tone quality rather than their scratchy noise

Darryl
my Favs.Jim Centorino Jeff Kievet, Muchachos, Bonnie Ott, mello, BD, Jim Brady, Saints /Bridgemen sop, '77 -grew up with him in Edison Saints. better solos than with bayonne.. Chris Metzger, Madison, -got to meet him at finals last season. felt like a fan. Dan Halpern - 89 Blue Devils -great till finals BD 2000 trumpet soloist.-last great one. CHEZ Chez nailed it, but lets add him to that list, and: Mike Soltys (Maui) early 70's from the Polish Falcons on Bari, (Maui passed away mid 2007) Pete Burnejko 80 Blue Devils sop
