I think you missed Plan's point. He's not saying people don't get it... rather they get it and say they don't because they are emotionally attached to the fact that they hate to see BD do well.

Well throwing around words like 'cheap' and 'nonsense' just simply aren't going to be taken lightly. Especially when you are talking about the most decorated corps in DCI and this years current number one. There are plenty who share euph2008's opinion that are far less disrespectful.

You call that a challenge!? A real challenge is a 3 to 5 at 220bpm... which I think 4 hour morning vis block would suffice for BD.

INeverMarched made the mistake of putting down another corps to prove his point. But don't just sift through his post looking for the smallest little thing to discredit him. Ignoring the rest of his post only numbs the pain you get from the truth in it.

I don't think DCI is in the financial shape to pay a clapping cop.

Yes, and I'm sure it's perfectly OK to call people ### holes. But really?? You think we're ### holes about winning? How many BD fans/alums do you know on these forums or even personally that trash talk other corps or talk about how much better we are then everyone else? We're to busy defending ourselves from you guys. I really think you just need to lighten up. FYWW is like KFC. Doesn't mean anything =). Winning is our blessing and curse. We can't say a thing without being accused of arrogance, egocentrism or BD-centeredness.

Different corps are for different people. FYWW creates both fans and haters. I loved their arrogance way before I even thought of trying out for the corps.

Maybe you just don't like drum corps all together and should find some other mode of entertainment. Golf? You're either awesome or you suck. No messy grey area with the judges and the captions and dees tings. I love our governor.

It says 25 drum corps alumni/fans agreed not to watch some live drum corps. Not that you can't just go down the street to the movie theater any day of the week for that... oh wait.
