The cadets historically make huge jumps after off years. 1986 4th - 1987 1st 1989 5th - 1990 1st 1991 6th - 1992 2nd 1999 4th - 2000 1st 2004 4th - 2005 1st 2006 5th - 2007 ???? I'm not saying this trend guarantees that the Cadets will win or anything. I'm just pointing out that the Cadets sure do like to come back from off years with a chip on their shoulder. So according to trends... Bluecoats should get 3rd. Phantom should get 1st. The Cadets could go get either 1st or 2nd, depending on which element of the trend you are looking at. The Cavaliers should get 1st or 2nd, and the Blue Devils cannot go below 4th. This is getting sticky... 1) Phantom/Cadets/Cavaliers/Blue Devils 2) Cadets/Cavaliers/Blue Devils 3) Blueoats/Blue Devils 4) Blue Devils 5 corps... 4 placements... I'm feeling a tie this season. Official DCI rules. I think if there is a scored tie at the top the trophy goes to the corps with the higher GE mark but I'm not sure, can anyone confirm that? I don't feel like looking it up.
