Because I do believe, from knowing first hand (I was there), that there were NO facts released regarding the board turnover. And, a number of the board members RESIGNED when the decision to let Sal go was presented...so the board was NOT in agreement. Tell me more...I would love to hear because these "facts" have yet been made public...to anyone, including most importantly the MEMBERS. For the past few years I have written posts that include the words "this is my opinion and opinion only. They do not reflect the opinion of any organization with which I may be associated". I am doing the same thing here. Revisiting the past is relevant and can be useful, but I think it's time that we realize that this is 2007 and there is nowhere to look forward. I did not agree with my fellow Board members, and that's OK. I cannot think of any reason to continually pull scabs off wounds. It was counterproductive in 2003 and it is now. My hope is that the entire 2007 Madison Scouts family, including Sal, has a successful year, regardless of the measuring stick they choose to use.
