Thus the music ends and they're marching the last 2 or so sets...... Come On DCI Fix the problem!!!! Otherwise hey the Stanford vids are up!!! DCI was testing a new process to upload the videos in near-real time for Video on Demand. The new process eliminates a LOT of manual steps, and when it's tweaked to work properly, the videos for each show should be up within minutes of the show being over! No more long waits overnight for the fans! So ... obviously there was a problem with the settings in the computer used to encode the videos for VOD. So, as we speak, I'm going through the "manual" process to convert the tapes (see THIS POST for the process). And I should hopefully have the corrected videos up by tomorrow. Awesome awesome awesome, on all accounts (good stream/show, exploring options that would improve service, working to quickly fix the problem, etc). Is there a possibility that the capabilities of uploading video within minutes of a show's conclusion will be put to good use for the Championship Finals VOD (for those of us who paid the premium)?!
