Eddieblue Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 When do i find DCI on tv this year? Quote
zachariaswmb Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Sadly, you won't. They're not broadcasting it this year. Quote
bhs alumni Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 (edited) find someone who has received their DVDs and talk them into providing colorful commentary and reinacting goofy music product commercials while you watch. Edited November 20, 2008 by bhs alumni Quote
DrinkinOuttaCups Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 And for an added twist, make sure to butcher as many corps names as possible. The Pioneer, The Crossman Band, Santa Claus Vanguard...the works! Quote
cowtown Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I’m working on a version using finger puppets, kazoos and CGI Quote
bhs alumni Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Santa Claus Vanguard is this as bad as calling them: "from Santa Clara City College, the Santa Clara Vanguard Marching Band," as was done during the Rose Parade a few years back? Quote

84BDsop Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 In the last 10 years, what corps has had their name butchered on the broadcast? I think he's referring to local show announcers who are totally clueless about the proper pronounciation of corps' names. Then again, we had The Voice doing "Constantly Risking Asurbity" this year....although that COULD have been deliberate... To answer the OP, the broadcast was cancelled this year to save money....so of COURSE this would be the year that Regiment finally wins by itself! Quote
2CoolVK Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 find someone who has received their DVDs and talk them into providing colorful commentary and reinacting goofy music product commercials while you watch. I'd take goofy music product commercials if it meant the show would be on TV. Quote
