  7. I believe it was '74.... By the way the dents in our horns were not from misuse, they were from crowd control! ^0^ See ya' at the Rose Bowl.
  8. I just took delivery on a very clean K-90 only to discover that the first vavle is cracked (not the housing, the valve itself) now I get to try and find a replacement. HELP!
  9. I am looking for parts for a K-90. As long as the valves are in good shape, the rest of the horn doesn't matter. Please contact me if you have any loose parts also.

  17. The lead snare in the picture on the right looks like he is out of step?
  18. Besides '77 Bridgemen my only other vote would be for the '72 Blue Rock...yes I know '74 and beyond, but that is one I would love to see. For the other '70s show ....'75 Oakland..classic! I can totally be bought on the rest...doesn't matter to me.
  19. Am I missing something? But don't the best entertaining Corps (plural) place at the top now? Exhibitions were fun, and yes we did let it hang out a little more than normal. But that was under the old "tick" system, and now without that in place what is keeping EVERY Corps from optimizing every show whether judged or not?
  20. Nice video production…I only wonder if they have permission to use the song…. An artist like Mr. Osborne and his army of attorneys could crush a corps with one punch. I am not trying to take the wind out of anyone’s sails, just asking. Cease and desist demands always seem to ruin your day!
  21. We have nine on the books for '07..... ^OO^ ...and will march as many as want to!
  22. That would have been the early '70's. If you could chase down Mike McCool he could give you the details, but if my memory serves me right the Senior West Coast Express was a one or two show deal and ended just as soon as it began. The West Coast Express junior corps was formed by Zig Jr. in '79 and competed only on the West Coast for a couple of years. I am going to put myself out on a limb and declare that it was the West Coast Express that provided the first catalyst of the style that the Velvet Knights eventually migrated to in the '80's. They were pretty cool. Uniforms were striped overalls with engineer hats and bandannas around the neck. In fact they were the FIRST corps to sport converse high tops! The West Coast Express...they had it going on.!
  23. The Color is POWDER......POWDER BLUE! Baby blue and Kingsmen must never be used in the same sentence b**bs
