  2. Saxophones....he was supposed to aim for the saxophones....... -G
  3. I heard PC was stuck at the airport till 3am Thursday morning, plus they did not practice with instruments for 3 days. Hopefully they can get into touring by Saturday. -G
  4. Have you seen or heard Pacific Crest's 2008 show? So, if your theroy is correct, when Phantom shows up in SoCal, they should jump up over what....2 points automatically? -G
  5. What about Pacific Crest? Finish 17th last year and got a 71.7 their first show last night. -G
  6. Here is a link to the Kingsmen Alumni Corps warm-up from their performance in June at Walnut CA. Brings back memories.........
  7. Doc is alive, well and sounding great as ever. Zig is building his new horn the Destino and Doc is out promoting it. GABA
  8. I must apologies to the Anahiem Kingsmen. I was not aware that the video's were proprietary and ment only for the Kingsmen Alumni. I have edited my post and ask everyone else to edit out the link as well. Again accept my apology. GABA
  9. I just posted links to the Kingsmen Jan 8th 1st rehearsal video in the DCA & Alumni Corps Discussions Subforums. Post "Kingsmen Alumni"? . It looks like they might be Resurrected for 07. GABA
  10. Someone emailed me the links to the Kingsmen 1st rehearsal on Jan 8th. He said they had 55 horns in this run thru of Folk Song Suite. That is the most horn players the Kingsmen ever fielded! I think they sound pretty good for their 1st rehearsal. I can't wait to see and hear them in 07 with 100 more horns. If the video don't play, right click the code on the page then click on "Save Page As" and you should be able to get them to play. Rather large file size over 25 Megs for the High Res. Sorry I don't know how else to to get the file. Is Rocco teaching the Horn line? Who is teaching the Guard, Drums, Drill? GABA
  11. So what is going on with the Kingsmen Alumni Corps? Are they still going to perform in 2007? Felix? 77snare? Anybody hear anything? GABA
  12. Hey Felix, which one are you? I just love this shot GABA
  13. 27th Kilties Troopers Anahiem Kingsmen Muchachos GABA
  14. Dave Devlin take note, this is what CLASS is all about. GABA
  15. Dave, I see you marched in 77, 78. Did you march any place else that won DCI more then once? If not, cut this guy a little slack. You wrote sometime back about "Kingsmen "Class" is back in session". I think you have been playing hooky, because you are not showing any class at all. If the Kingsmen want to change the definition of what Alumni stands for, fine. This is your choice. If you want to say that everyone who marches in a Drum Corps is an automatic Kingsmen Alumni, fine thats your choice. You should check with all your true Alumni, because the emails I received tell a different story. GABA
  16. Felix, you are a Kingsmen! I can't wait to see you guys in Blue once again. Talk with Dave, I am sure he means well. Again, this was not ment to be a Kingsmen bashing. If you look at all my posts, you will see that I am a fan. GABA
  17. OK, here is the reason I posted these questions. I am on the Alumni Committee for my Alma Mater. We started to hunt down as many "Alumni" as we can for our 40th reunion. This is kind of a special reunion, plus we are a small school, so we did not care if they graduated last year or 15 years ago. We wanted to have a real big turn out. We came up with these question because some of the past students got wind of this and wondered why certain people were invited even though they attended for less then a year. I personally know of 5 people who attended 3 or more schools before getting their degree. I being one of them. So, are we an Alumni of every one of those schools, or just the one we graduated from? I know my school will not sell you one of those Alumni License plate frames of any Alumni stuff without proof of graduating. I am also aware of other schools with the same policy. If you exchange Drum Corps for schools, and marching a whole season for graduating, you may or may not see my point. This post was not ment to rag on the Kingsmen, but I guess I must of hit a nerve with some of their members. For that I am sorry. GABA
