  1. Form Amedeo, & Mo! Thanks for the Kind words. We are the Pecussion instructors for 20th Century.Our Guys & Gals needed to hear this too show they can be just as good as the marching lines... We work hard even though we are a "parade Corps". We have the same drive as the field Corps, and this review proved it. Again thank you sooo much Pearlsnaredrummer.   2. Lookig for past alumni of the Poughkeepsie Pacemakers & Pacers Drum & Bugle Corps. The Pacers 1960 Intro: "The Pacers one of the finest jr. Drum & Bugle Corps in the area. The Corps is compoed of youths from this area between the ages of 10-16. Our uniforms are new and the colors are as follows: (Shirt) bright red wth a red and whtie cros stripe fringed with gold. The pants are black with a wide plested bell bottom in bright red. Our shakos are sparkling red trimmed wth black and white and a large red plume at tha top. The bugles section hae gleaming chrome bugles and the drum sectoin has the finest sparkle red pearl drume on the market. Put this all togeather and you have a truly fine appearing group. The Corps also features a 12 girl color-gaurd carrine(8)colcoful flags(2) riflies and (2) sabers. This high stepping neat appearing color gaurd that has WON much Acclaim This season... The Corps Has 40 marching members, our music is modern and up-to-date and played at a fine marching tempo of 124 BPM, a cadance that give a marching unit a fine military appearance, and a very crowd pleasing effect." The Pacemakers Intro: "The Pacemakers of Poughkeepsie N.Y. were fprmed in 1962 and first appeard in the 1963 Loyality Day parade. the Pacemakers now consists of 70 members. The Corps is under direction of Mr. Leon MacDonald,assisted by Mr. Peter Maroldt. The Coprs is led by twin Majoretts, Margite and Andra Coniglio. The Polish American Citizens Club is the sponsor."   4. Everytime I see the show,I get goose bumps....It was a great a memerable year for Drum Corps,and the East.. Mo!

I agree with Quadzkid....Palying Match in 2 great lines(Conn.,& 27)....I played tradish for 10+years,before the transformation to match...It took about a year to master the left hand, to catch up with the right....If SCV dose not win drums...It's not because of the grip...It's the inexspirence of the line,and not playing well togeather..Remember SCV won drums a few times playing match...So if not this year,they will win the next:)IMO Mo!

  8. ah yes 1980 dci mid west...we where beating everyone in drums all year long until finals...but dci mid west was a strang day...ty and i got into an argument about something stupid :P ...just before going on for pres.....i was not going to march...i went back to the bus..lyle,dana.. ,and jack cash came over to calm me down...needless to say we kissed and made up.LOL.....we started to count to 27 and bam!!!.....we did not get a tic until middle of open wide....we scored the first 18 in drums before anyone....we where just so clean...it was like one snare was playing instead of 12.....as paris says "it was hot"....that day we just new we where going to win drums...but as we all know bridgemen,and spirit came on strong finals night...kodoos too them both...they where great lines,and also great friends.... Mo!

Loved It, cried all the way through...Every time I hear Danny Boy, I get goose bumps :)....Although I didn't march in the 94 Alumni...My heart and Soul where their ....Steve Groh, is the gentelmen who made this wonderfull video.... He marched 27th 69-74....I just spoke with him today...And he said to look out for more footage in the comming month.....Glad to see everyone is enjoying the videos....And thanks to all THE OLD FANS, and after they see this video, THE NEW FANS.... 27TH 4 LIFE M0!
