If you look at the QF and SF recaps, the scoring was pretty consistent with BD's percussion. BD placed 3rd in percussion at Quarterfinals with a 19.15....however....so did the Bluecoats and Crown (for some reason it doesn't say 3rd in drums for them too). In Semifinals they also placed third with a 19.10, but the Bluecoats scored the same and Crown was .1 under. In Finals BD dropped by .1 to 19.00, Crown went up by .1 and Bluecoats went up by .25 Phantoms percussion scores: QF: 19.75 SF: 19.65 Finals: 19.85 Overall, everything looks to be in order. Percussion scoring over the course of Quarterfinals through finals was not why BD lost...so that theory is debunked. Anyway...you can't really tell what cost BD the championship unless you look at Phantom Regiment. PR is the one who had the biggest score change PR: +.35 BD: +.05

Definitely the greatest year since I've been following on DCP (since 2003).

Great year Scouts! Can't wait for the announcement of next year's show (do it sooner than April...PLEASE!!!!!!)

...my computer froze during the Madison Scouts and Bluecoats...and I missed their whole shows....

Great job Scouts.... ...but on a different note....BC's visual designer can't keep the sections together at all....drill looks good, but the sections aren't organized at all....

####!!!! my computer ####ed up right atn the beginning of Madison's performance....had to restart.....and all I caught was the applause at the end....I am ######! :smile:

If you are talking about the average, everyday person being the vast majority....well, I showed my sister the BK show this year and she isn't a big drum corps fan (I force her to watch it with me lol). She really liked BK, and she isn't a big drum corps fan. I was surprised she liked them that much, and it's her favorite show this year (Believe me...I showed her everyone). BK definitely has a niche for dark music, and it's working well for them.

I'll keep it relatively short. I like what the Blue Knights do. I DO find them entertaining because they are different from the other corps in what they play and portray. I'm sick of people saying BK needs to be "entertaining"....they are, but not to you. Go enjoy your crowd-friendly Carolina Crown show while I enjoy my dark BK show and we will all be happy. I also enjoy Carolina Crown by the way....

Good luck to both the Crossmen and the Madison Scouts tomorrow! I love both of them, but I am hoping Madison gets the spot.
