  1. Sound great! Way to Phantom! Can't wait to see it live tonight in Rockford, weathering permitting.
  2. Whether it rains or not, I will be in the HOUSE to see the show!

  4. Thanks to everyone who has responded. I cannot wait to get my tickets. Even though I will be at finals in Madison, this will give me an opportunity to see the western II/III corps before then. I saw Fever, Oregon Crusaders and Blue Devils B for the first time ever in Denver. I cannot wait to see them as we as The Academy!!
  5. I have been hearing rumors that there is going to be a division II/III show in early August in Michigan City, Indiana that will feature some of the BEST division II/III corps!! Does anyone know the date and time of this show? Who is actually slated to perform? When will we find out how to purchase tickets? Thanks for your help!!!!!
  6. Cool obsevation!! I did not think of the Pioneers.
  7. Thanks for your reply. I too do not care what is "between their legs." My intention for the initial post is that the corps has been traditionally an all female colorguard for sometime now. Moving forward, it will be interesting to see them perform with males being that I have watched them for over 20 years performing with only young ladies. Either way, they are going to be a superb colorguard to compliment an outstanding horm and percussion line. As always, Go Phantom!!!!
  8. Good afternoon to all!! Perhaps this topic has already been discussed, but I was reading the Phantom Regiment's website (section for auditions-walkins) and it indicated that females as well as MALES could audition for colorguard. I wondering if this is correct??? If so, Phantom Regiment will no longer be the only "all female colorguard" in division I. Inquiring minds want to know? What have you heard?? Thanks!!
  9. I would love to see the Phantom Regiment win it all!!! Also, the Glassmen, Colts and Southwind making significant strides in 2006!!!! GO PHANTOM
  10. Great, my dad was visiting in Mississippi and saw the CBS news. He really liked the segment and really enjoyed seeing the Phantom Regiment (as I did)!!!
  11. My thoughts are as follows: Phantom Regiment- most entertaining show this year; hands down!!! I could hear the band kids in the stands compliment and wish to be in a Phantom uniform next year, as they look towards their 50th anniversay. They will surely ROCK the house!!!! Thanks Pat, Adam, Jamey, and the entire staf, you are the bomb diggity!!! Bluecoats- if they do not have any ageouts- WATCH OUT everyone!!! Top #3!!! Glassmen-traveling to Europe with an entertaining show this year!! Capitol Regiment- what a rebound after a slow beginning this year!! In my opinion, the most improved corps of 2005!!! SCVanguard- after the performance on Saturday evening, who would not want to march with the Vangaurd!!! They rocked!!!! Peace!!
  12. On Friday evening at semi-finals everyone recieved a copy of the ageouts along with the nightly DCI update. As we looked at the ageouts, it was interesting to see that the Bluecoats did not list any corps members?? If so, this is great for BLOOOOOOOOO! as they were very good this year. Deserving so, as they bested and distanced themselves from the Madison Scouts in finals. Go Blue!!! 5th Place in the house!!!!!!!! B)
  13. Great comment, I was thinking the same thing. Anyone knows?????
  14. Thanks for sharing!! Believe me, I am not trying to say not to bring children to an event of this nature but there were many children in the stands that wanted to play, talk, cry, walk, sing, dance during performance that were a distraction to many of us in attendance. Thanks to parents like YOU that understand the developmentally needs of children. Peace!!

  16. Sorry Lance, my SINCERE APOLOGIES!! I am typing too fast without going back to check what I have written. On next season when we meet, the beer is on me. Peace!!!
  17. Your right, I forgot about the pesty bell. I believe that you and I sat in the same area. Peace!!
  18. Kim, believe me when I tell you, "It was terrible!!!!"
  19. Thanks for sharing. I totally agree with you. Just to push the issue further, the ethics statement needs to be reinforced by security/volunteers. Just as if you were attending a play or opera. Peace!!
  20. Just got back this afternoon from Providence and the DCI championships were very good! I would like to comment on the security/ volunteers during the three day event at Gillette stadium. Here is the short and skinny -folks walked in and out of the stadium during the corps performances. This irked the HECK out of me! <**> <**> -folks not turing their cell phones off (or even talking on them during the corps performances). <**> <**> -folks talking during the corps performances. I will not say anything else in fear that my blood pressure will go up. <**> <**> -folks bringing young children to an event of this nature (it is developmentally inappropriate to expect that young children will sit for over 4 plus hours without wanting to play and be KIDS). Parents should strongly consider this when anticipating bringing their young children with them. I have paid big $$$$$ for the best seats in the house each evening, hotel, airfare, car rental and other accomodations because I am a loyal fan of DCI. Also, I have used valuable vacation time away from my family to attend this event. In retrospect, the DCI Regional event in Kalamazoo had the best security/volunteers that I have seen this year. Perhaps you can hire these folks to work the event. Believe me, they were on top of everything. DCI, PLEASE listen to this. Did anyone else have a similiar experience??? Peace!!
  21. Phantom Regiment hands down!!! Glassmen, Madison Scouts (award for hip hop outfit), and the Colts. Cavaliers look "caberate-ish!" YES- Please eat me alive for saying it. The unform appears to be tooooo femine for guys. Especially as they dance in the last segment of the show (splits, high kicks, hands on hips, etc). In retrospect, I guess that we all have our taste in uniforms. Peace!!
  22. Go Phor it Phantom Regiment!! Congratulations to the staff for putting togther an appealing show that appeals to everyone!!! We are very proud of you. Class, class and more class Phantom Regiment.... the field is yours!!!!!!!!!!! Go Eric Clubb!! Bring it home to Illinois!!!!!!
  23. Pleasssse, in 1999 that was a water down, boot-leg version of the Rockford Files. I want to see the Rockford Files from the late 70's Peace!!
  24. Thanks Phan Doris, I can remember as a young child seeing Phantom Regiment at DCI Midwest in Whitewater in anticipation of doing the files. The colorguard movements were precise and it was a rare that they dropped. Moreoever, the crowd went absolutely nuts!!!!! I am very surprised that this has not been brought back to the field. Moving forward, whichever corps does it first, will be followed by many others. Peace!!!
