I concur! We too saw Phantom on Saturday in Kalamazoo. Everyone loved the music and drill. Honestly, I think as this show continues to develop and more visuals are added to this show, it will score well in August as everyone in our section agreed. Go Phantom!! Good luck to all corps!

Great summary of the evening's performances. I concur...I think that you are RIGHT ON with your comments re: Phantom Regiment. Honestly, they should have been in 7th place. In my opinion, it appeared that the judges did not duly reward them in the music caption as well as the changes made to this show.

I concur - You are absolutely correct!! From seeing Phantom in Atlanta to Indy, the changes were noticeable making the show flow better. You rocked each night during the finals competition as it appeared that the scores did not reflect it. Believe me, the folks who sat in our section (upper level- 638) appeared to all be Phantom Phans as we cheered, jeered and screamed, "Go Phantom!" before, during and after your performances.

Giving Phantom some love!!! This year I have read many posts about the Phantom Regiment that were not the most positive along with being bashed for some of their challenges this season. Despite, all of what I have read, I had the opportunity to see Phantom Regiment (many times) as their show evolved over this short competitive season. Most recently at the DCI Championships in Indianapolis. Yes- you performed well as the crowd responded favorably each evening. To the young adults of the Phantom Regiment, THANK YOU very much for a great season!! With some of the challenges you faced, they were handled professionally on the field as you performed as a championship corps should. Indeed- your hard work and tirelses work ethic paid off. Please be proud of your accomplishments as you reflect and transition into 2010. Yes- I have been a fan for many years and will continue to be. Irregardless of what place it is, you will always be one of my favorite corps. Again, CONGRATULATIONS on a great season! Rock on Phantom!!

I like the Cavalier's guard uniform this year...at least the uniform fit them differently than of Madison (irregardless of body type).

Sorry, I do not mean to flame here but the Madison Scouts should not only clean their guard but change those uniforms. You have many body types that do not fit the tight uniforms they are trying to wear. Especially when they take off the black jackets, they look a mess!! Actually, some of the guys (due to body type), need upper body support as they are running across the field in those white tops. Moreover, some of these guard instructors should look carefully before they select the uniforms these GUYS will be wearing!! Presently, I have seen the Scouts seven times this year and of those seven times folks in the stands have commented negatively on the guard uniforms.
