I know evolution is necessary and that the levels of performance and quality will ultimately grow, but to what extent is necessary. Adding woodwinds would change the way drum corps is completely. Drum Bugle and Woodwind corps, uh uh I dont see it.

There has been decades of an activity we all love and thus should stay the way it is. sorry for pulling a sc quote but it is the most appropriate

I think that was SCV '97 not positive I only saw the show once, but I know there is one year where you can clearly see the snare player break his foot and continue to march the rest of the show. SICK!

Its not a lack of projection its simply staging.. In any situation you will hear the top voice before the very bottom so it only makes sense.
