  1. I believe my original question was clear as day, but that's beside the point. When was the last time you were at WGI championships?
  2. Why would anyone hate the term rhythmic accuracy? I also posted a question a little further back about WGI. When was the last time you were at WGI? Do you feel that WGI is a positive or negative experience on the activity as a whole?
  3. When/where is this proposal being presented?
  4. When was the last time you were at WGI? Do think that WGI has been a positve or negative influence on the activity as a whole?
  5. Ahhhhh.........I finally feel like we are getting to the heart of the matter..............
  6. So...........when are you guys with your master plan going to submit this to rules congress?
  7. I don't even want to think about how cymbal lines would be treated in this plan.......
  8. Boy, I was hoping this would turn into a G vs. Bb thread.......maybe we could debate amps as well........
  9. Anybody have a link to the judges for tonights show?
  10. Do you walk to school or pack your lunch? Just remember, you can lead a horse to water, but he's worth two in the bush.
  11. I was checking out the drums at the Bensalem show in the lot. Tom was busting my balls, I told him I'd bring the cymbal line over in 10 minutes........
  12. You mean your not working the truck? I thought I'd get a chance to see you tomorrow night.
  13. Good thing there is a shower there, that could get ugly. I'll bring my ball.
  14. Just wanted to point out that I am enjoying this thread. I'd say that visual is the area in the activity right now with the most room to grow. Let's not forget the relevance of using form to feature different groups musically and visually (guard moment). To the original poster, do you write drill now? Do you aspire to?
  15. As the staff felt like they were going to vomit in the stands.........
  16. I was backfield listening to tapes with Larry, we almost got out of the back stands because we thought a tymp was coming at us. I think Crossmen were on the field, they had some looks on there faces.
  17. From a design point of view, the transition from the opener to drum solo and the drum solo to the ballad are some of the best deigned moments I've seen.
  18. Except none of the hanging over sops got the showmanship award last year...... ^0^
  19. Thanks for the props guys. Rich has written the cymbal book for Bucs the past 3 years. Dan Delong wrote the book for the Bluecoats in 2001. This will be my first summer not teaching in a long while, I'm looking forward to catching as many plate lines as I can.
  20. I knew something made me want to read this thread today..........
  21. Thanks for the props bro. Who on this list is in charge of bringing the brew? NOT IT. Am I the youngest on the list?
