1. Maybe kickhaltsforlife and euponitone boy should try it. I have an inbox full of posts outing you guys as disgruntled. It's OK Its a great activity . don't be bitter. all the best. My blank post are because people come on here to read about the 2010 crossmen's visual staff. that is the topic of this thread. not listen to disgruntled people argue. I like the changes they have made on the visual side and design area's of the corps. best of luck in 2010 sorry if you don't agree. but please stay positive . these are young students and instructors we are talking about here. ITS AN EDUCATION GAME NOT A LIFE GAME. RELAX.
2. arguing with kids who are not even in the game is not worth it sometimes.
3. like usual don't understand your post. what does this have to do with the crossmen visual staff ? or are you just flaming for no good reason ?
4. Silent post and prayers for our brothers and sisters over at PC.
5.
Thank you for cut and pasting everything that was on the crossmen website. The only problem I have is that there is not a single Crossmen alum represented on the visual staff. These guys all look like talented people, but I would've liked to see at least one familiar name.
NEW team. NEW skills . give it TIME . Last season staff was mostly ALUMS.

7. 2010 STARTS NOW ! The 2010 season begins in just under a month with the first of three Crossmen eXperience camps in Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. All three camps serve as round 1 of auditions for the 2010 Crossmen Drum Corps as well as a two day drum corps experience for those who just want to see what World Class Drum Corps is all about! The first camp is at Forney High School, in east suburban Dallas, TX. This is the second year that Forney High School has served as host to the Crossmen Dallas camp with over 200 talented students attending in 2009. The following weekend, Johnson High School in San Antonio will serve as the site of the second eXperience camp, which also saw 200 plus potential future Crossmen last year. New to 2010 is the Houston eXperience camp. The corps is in the final stage of securing the hosting site and by all indications, the Houston camp is shaping up to be one of the best yet. "We are a month away and we have record numbers pre-registered for the 2010 eXperience camps" said Mark Chambers, corps director. "It is our goal to see over 200 participants at each site" As a reminder, all potential members for 2010 must attend one of the three eXperience camps. Veteran members of the corps are required to attend as well as it serves as the intial audition for corps membership. Spots are still available for all three camps. 8. In todays DCI talent has very little to do with placement. Yes you do need some talent and an experienced marcher. BUT show design takes priority over talent. DID PHANTOM HAVE TALENT last season ? yes . MORE THAN BLUE STARS ? BOSTON ? Remember this was the DCI champ . had a very large turnout at auditions. DID Troopers and have more talent than MADISON , CROSSMEN , ACADEMY , Spirit ? probably NOT. but they had a much better design. With all the talent CADETS had last season the drill was STILL too hard. Some shows are over written , some badly staged. , some make sense only to the designers. some are choppy , some are boring but score well , some are exciting but are dirty. Its not what you do its HOW YOU DO IT. top 6 corps usually get a older group by a year you can get 1500 students try out . you can still only perform with 150. would a 10 person swing from Cavies to Phantom make a difference ? would a 15 person swing from Blue Stars to Madison make a difference ? Probably not.
9. I will take a long chord that builds over a forced FF one anyday.
