I agree with you 100% but, These aren't kids. You must be 18 or older to be in BD. These are adults that already know better. I've been around drum corps for over 25 years which is longer than any marching member has been alive and I have to tell you there isn't 1 corps in history that wasn't ###### when they went undefeated all season and then lost Finals. It doesn't matter who worked hard or who did what, we all work hard and have a shot at the title. It just seems that the BD haters don't care what they say or do, By calling BD ###### this I play Baritone ### looses all credibility and just labels himself as an ###. Sure, each has a billion things to talk about and "They are extremely bitter" Do you even have any concept on how big a number a billion really is? Multiply that by 150 that's 150,000,000,000. Now I'm sure no one has come close to talking to you about anything 1/4 of a billion times. And by "They" you mean the entire organization? Because I'm sure not everyone or a 1/4 of the 2008 Blue Devils organizaton have ever complained to you about anything. I noticed you don't have any corps affiliation in you signature, Until you fess up and stake your claim, to me you're not even qualified to make such a statement. I for one will not hesitate to stand up and walk out on those that use it. I am not a BOA fan for that very reason. I encourage all of you who don't approve to show them and just walk away. That is not or never will be drum corps. Drum corps will have officially jumped the shark when they fire up the synths. Doesn't make amplification look too bad after all. Well at least there's senior corps. Sorry for the unpopular opinions, but what is a drum corps fan supposed to do when there isn't drum corps any more? I'm not saying boo them just get up and leave. I went to the DCA website and clicked on most of the Corps' websites and went sniping for free media, Most corps just offer pictures and the corps that offer video or audio seem to have broken links. How important is free video or audio, I think it would be an awesome and vital recruiting tool. Big props to the Cabs for having the most working media links. Maybe if the powers that be at each corps could give DCP permission to have a media section or permission to link to you-tube videos, Then I could come here to get my fix. Trav

Maybe you should relax a little, My family values are way different than yours. My parents were drunks that gave up on their kids and drum corps saved my life. It gave me a place to stay all summer long and gave me friends that i still value today. There is nothing wrong with changing on the bus or showering were you have to. Hooking up? ask Doug and Deb peterson, They're still married today. I survived on P B and J and instant coffee. It's drum corps not pamper me and wipe my bottom from me when away from home. Maybe you should put your 14 year old in Beauty pageants, where all the morals and values are. Drum corps isn't for you. Travler Garvey
