I would take having someone that's been with the Corps before on staff. That's a start. You know, Tradition and all.

I was, of all things, playing pickup hockey in VA. Another guy had a BD member tshirt on. It turned out we had mutual friends from his years at BD. Small world.

I say do Channel One Suite. The WHOLE thing. We don't need no stinking snippets.

Has anyone else had their parents absolutely crush this for them like that?? Yes, My parents were the main reason I didn't march. Lying to them to go to tryouts and camps, etc. I hope it makes you feel better to know that if either of my kids want to march, the question will be where not if. I will pay 100% no questions asked. It's more than worth it. I will be investing in making them better humans. They will learn people skills, hard work, teamwork, dedication, playing with pain, and professionalism. They will be around other motivated individuals 24-7. They will learn attention to detail, how to take criticism, they will see a big part of the country, learn how to do their own freakin' laundry (or stink). That is a short, but important list.

It's also about hitting the drum with some other intent than a clean tap roll.

I haven't seen anything along these lines: Most Corps have don't seem to have enough $$ right? Wouldn't adding different instruments (WW's) mean needing more staff to instruct them? More staff = more $$. Side note, I've been lurking here for months, reading. Great forum.
