Hey now, be nice. Indy is usually pretty good at hosting large events. We have a brand new (huge) hotel downtown and are adding another before the new stadium is completed. Finals wouldn't be in the Dome as you know it now. The new stadium is supposed to be done by then...retractable roof...open air.
The Indianapolis Star actually published a write up about the stadium with photos. See www.indystar.com, photo gallery. If you want a vacation, go to Disney World, if you want to watch drum corps, buy tickets, find your seat and sit all evening. Indy actually does have a lot to offer as far as tourism...you just have to look around.

I'm a little bias, I would love to have finals in "my backyard". It make more logistical sense to try the stadium once though be fore commiting to 5 or 10 years.
