  1. Don't know anything about corps competing this year. But this week Jubal D&BC announced they will go to the USA again in 2011!
  2. Yeah, there are a few sets that aren't that good. But most of them... I've got a Mapex Pro M drumset, and I really like it.
  3. I second that. If their marching line is just as good as their drumsets, then I'll definitely like it!
  4. Okay... so I made a few too. These are my first ones ever, so I'm sorry if they suck
  5. Mostly I use Vic Firth's Ralph Hardimon sticks, I really love them! But for tenor mallets I like to play with Innovative's AT1A. For drumset Vic's sd4 combo.
  6. When I saw this I was really dissapointed :( I was looking forward to see them this year... I had to miss all the other DCI corps that were in Europe... Well, I still have Rhythm X to look forward to ;)
  7. This year Phantom Regiment had a dutch guy that played euphonium, Boston Crusaders had a dutch guy in the snareline (his second year), and SCV had a dutch guy on trumpet. There are probally more, but those are the first ones that came up.
  8. We did it with Rhythm Stars in 2005 and 2006...it thought it worked fine. Jubal did it too in 2004.
  9. I played that tenor with another band, not Rhythm Stars. I know...it really sucks, but we borrowed it from another band. Now we finally have our own tenors at De Wilp.
  10. The opener of the 2005 show of Rhythm Stars started with some really big hits for the drumline. The Music Ensemble judge responded very enthousiastic to that with: "Hellooo!!! Welcome to the Rhythm Stars!" We also had some funny comments at that same show from the persussion judge. He was singing almost every rhythm and melody. Some qoutes: "Boom tsjakke f**ke" "mmm yaaaaa" (with a low deep voice...very creepy :P ) "And let's boogie, yea come on" "Snares, I don't get the clap...<_<" "Come on!!" (he said that a thousand times :P)
  11. I'm really excited that the Cavies are coming to Europe, and Holland! I'm really looking forward to see them, and to see my first big DCI corps in real life! I missen the Devils in 2005 and this I missed Glassmen... :( I really hope more corps will come to europe in the future...it would be awesome! b**bs
  12. I once dreamed that I was marching a show with Rhythm Stars. We have a part in it where we take off a part of our uniform (sort of bodywarmer shape on top and a skirt thingy below). We march true a tunnel and in the tunnel we take it off, so when we come out you see our regular uniform with cape. In my dream I realized when I was finished with the show, that I forgot to take of those things in the tunnel. The scarriest part of it is that I dreamed this not long before the World Music Contest. And guess what happend at the WMC... I couldn't get my skirt off! It was stuck at my carrier or something...
