Tell VK³ not to get to comfortablel. NPE started off slow last year. But we know how it ended.

My two cents (or five, i may only have a nickel) As far as the off season being a number/research game. It is, and if people were in FDCI they knew that. And i don't think that would be any different if this was DCA. If the Live season use DCA socres from the live season, then for off season use historic DCA scores. I don't think the branch of drum corps has to do with anything. As far as time is concern. i'm a middle school band director and an assistant at the high school. I spend as much time as i need/want to on league. i don't think my job suffers from it. It's actually something to help me relax from work. Which leads me to... Number of corps. I like having five, and i don't think it's that big of a deal to put two in a division if they are differently constructed. Which is the case with the new rule. Here's my suggestion Have a DCI Div I, Div II, DIv III, and have an DCA option. (I don't know if they have differnt divisions like DCI) I know me personally, i don't know anything about DCA, but if it meant that i can keep all my corps in play, then i'd learn about DCA. Just change the overall league name to be more DCI/DCA friendly and see what happens. Somebody who KNOWS about DCA (hint, hint) could be in charge of the captions and so forth. In conclusion, i think this league is great. It is really interactive, and I KNOW WHY I SCORE THE WAY I SCORE. there's know randomness about it, live or off. But the key is to remember, it's only a game. And real life shouldn't really interfere with this.

Now that's just ridiculous... NMP throwing a spades tourney if anyone wants to play. Nastalgia Vanguard is providing the music aka practincg their show.

Then NMP usually competes witin itself for rivals. But if anyone wants to have some fun with us. I'm sure they'll gladly except.

After some discussions within the organization, the board of director from the Nastalgia Music Project have decided to send their Division 2 and 3 corps (Nastalgia Cadets, Nastalgia Jazz, and Nastalgia Percussion Ensemble) out to the West Coast to begin thier DCPI 7 season. These corps will hit shows in Arizona and California before heading back to the East Coast to meet up with thieir Division 1 family members. You know...that crossed through my mind about 30 mins ago. Man i'm good. Why else would they show up for a pre-season show. Oh well. I guess a season is no fun without a little drama. (But i'm a middle school band director, so i see drama everyday_ B)

Well coming from last year's Rookie of the Year, you can have success. It is quite a bit dfferent from FMB, but it's all gravy. Just strap up and enjoy the ride.

The Nastalgia Music Project is pleased with how things turned out at the Classic. However, Nastalgia Percusssion Ensemble is not very pleased. "This is not the way to start a title defense, even if it is preseason." said one of the members. Look for some intense work from this group. Nastalgia, a little more open to their finish, is looking to make some changes. A slightly different philosophy will be taken going into this season. "We should have been a finalist corps last year, and we let it slip through our hands. This will not happen again" said by the Drum Major of the group. The rest of the NMP will make their pre-season debut at the Lobster Classic. If any corps wants to hook up New Year's Eve night, the five corps will be down that night.

Well let's make sure the fried chicken is KENTUCKY fried Chicken. Nastalgia Music Project will be there.

Abstain, the region thing is cool cause one can truly say they are the champion of the region. But if your going to do that, then you should have special show where the DIV I comes together. We don't have a Southwest Region, or a Mid-American Region, or an Souteastern Region. Just call those regions, Opens and then anybocy can come. NMP
