Wow, some of you drive really far for corps..that's impressive. My trip from Frederick Co, MD to Manassas Park, VA is only about 65 miles, so it's not bad.
July 5 will be here faster than you can imagine! For the facebook crowd, I created a facebook listing for the event. Join up and tell your friends/corpsmates/family etc. Help spread the word about drum corps in the DC area!!

I was using DCI.org's feature of seeing which shows are closest to you, and I typed in my college's zip code (Latrobe PA) expecting to see a couple Pittsburgh area shows..and alas I saw none. I remember in 2006 there were two D1 shows in the area and I know there was at least 1 last year. It's a huge bummer. Any insight?
At the very least:
Warrenton, VA
Westminster, MD
QF in the theaters
Maybe...
Charleston, WV to see my Irish
West Chester, PA
Long shot:
Getting my United Arlines miles and flying to hang out with Pioneer for a while during the season.
Pioneer's food truck has a shower head that hangs off one of the back doors. You can divert the water from the hose for kitchen things to the shower! It's not all fancy like the new ones, but it gets the job done
This is such great news that we need to keep it at the top of the page! If you're in the DC/Baltimore area, check us out next Saturday at Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, MD! We'll be performing at the Chesapeake Tide Arena Football team's halftime.

It's still not too late to join us!!!
Shenandoah Sound had another great weekend of rehearsal. Today we put our entire opener on the "field." Because of the rain, we lined off the gym and did rehearsal there.
Our numbers keep rising and things are looking good for the season. We're still looking for more talent-so if you're on the fence, come on by!!
