  1. There were 3 options. Rehearse. Performance with critique after. Or Competition. We did the rehearsal and competition and I must say I'm liking the stadium so far.
  2. I can give you all an idea of what is it like to perform in it. The turf is a little bit softer than the RCA Dome and still has those #### rubber beads. There is a huge echo for the performers still. The sound isn't dead though thank God and in fact I found the sound kind of nice and resonant. It is big. Feels like your performing outside it is so big. From an audience standpoint from what I've heard, not experienced, it doesn't have much echo if any at all. The 300 and 400 seats are the nicest I heard obviously because everyone projects to the box. On the back sideline BOA hung a huge black curtain that really took away from the stadiums color I thought because there is a huge open space where you can see the entrance and concessions. That could possibly be a problem for noise during Finals.

  4. Just came back from the Naperville show and boy was I both impressed and disgusted. I thought Cavaliers stole the night with one of the best shows I've seen. Execution. Design. It is all there and in one package. And they played a lot more than I thought a visually based corps would. Cadets....hmmm....first thing that comes to mind is if you took the narration away you'd have a decent shot against Cavies for 1st. Brass was phenominal. Phantom better watch out. Cadets got probably the least applause at all and no one knew when the show ended because it was such an odd ending. Basically no narration+ new ending = good to go Carolina Crown. 16 Contras to start off with. Amazing. Before I saw this show I had heard that it was bad transitionally and unconnected due to them playing 13 pieces. But let me tell you honestly there was barely any parts where I wanted better transition. One of my favorite shows by you guys by far. Blue Knights. The theme didn't come across. Ok execution. Wasn't impressed to be honest. Spirit. Didn't get the theme or see it. Like the brass and the percussion for the most part. Blue Stars. Wouldn't get the theme if there weren't bicycle wheels and helmets and such. Pretty good execution. Snares get scoops. You don't project. Good guard. Madison. Loved the show. Great percussion. Color Guard is getting there. Brass is pretty good. Visually dirty but it does have a LOT of visual stuff so I'll let you guys clean. Really enjoyed going back to the old Latin ways, but also making it different. Like the little sop mello baritone trio also. Pioneer. Sorry didn't see you got there late =[ Overall. Madison, Carolina, and Cavies were the shows I was liking tonight. Cavies definitely have one of the best shows I've ever seen. Very intense. Very clean for early season.
  5. Yes, but at least with our government we get to vote for the people whom make the decisions such as The President, Senate, Governor, Congress, and Local Officals.
  6. Great job guys. Heard they gave a hell of a performance today. Can't wait to see you in Naperville.

  8. Pretty excited to hear everyone's reviews and see the pictures. Just wondering. Is anyone going to be allowed to videotape Madisonic? And if so is anyone going to? Because I just can't stand waiting untill Naperville to see this thing.
  9. MSARP decides to perform and owns the competition. Their reward for winning is the execution of George Hopkins on the spot. Drum Corps is saved.
