So where is the tipping point??? To make fans happy do we ask all the corps to do stupid hard shows that are executed at a mediocre level?? I'm not saying that anybody is mediocre right now... but from the sound of it thats what a lot of people would like to see. I, personally, like to see a flawless product. It is more impressive to see a hard show executed perfectly over a ridiculously hard show with mistakes. Thats just me...

precisely, which is why the overall score from show to show really doesn't matter. It's the spread that matters. BD wasn't at a 94.8 relative to some all knowing 100 point scale, they were 94.8 relative to the fact that the judging panel felt like they were 0.7 above the cadets.

at least in snare mode that thing sounds decently real. And it could actually be pretty cool for use in other places than dci. lol the other thing i posted is a real piecer lol

ummm im pretty sure judging by the video, that this is some bad idea that never made it out of hte 80's. so i think your safe. I just found it and thought people here would get a good laugh out of it. not really a serious thing lol

I was thinking today about how we compare shows from season to season. What if DCI told corps for one season to pick their favorite show that they have done this decade and 2010 had them all pitted together. so then we could see how 1930 compared to the zone and to frameworks. Obviously the members arent the same so it may be different outcomes. but I still think it would be a cool season! i dont know maybe ive been at work too long and its a stupid idea haha. what do you think.

my high school played there in high school. the acoustics are great!!!!

you forgot qwest field in seattle. it might be out of the way for well...most everybody but. good lord would that be an awesome place to have finals. in Seattle which is a great great city and the stadium is INCREDIBLE

phantom will probably get the nod for 7th cuz they always have a very emotional finals performance that seems to carry them a little bit higher. I would love to see blue stars take 7 though. I LOVE their show!

its chill not everybody is gonna "get" the show. its a polarizing show. i love it and its my favorite of the year :)

sound must have been crazy in different places in the stadium cuz where i was they were clean. plus there pit is getting them a huge boost in that score. they are effing incredible. people forget that the pit is part of that score sometimes
