I've got the 2007 Allentown patch. Since I wasn't in that show, I don't really have any need for it.

Bluecoats for me, hands down. I've loved their shows since I first saw them in 2004. There has never been a show that Crown has put out that I have enjoyed despite having a gorgeous brass sound (which is their only redeeming factor for me). Even if I don't like them, I can't help but admit that they are good at what they do.

The one show I'd like to see Phantom do is music from V for Vendetta. You've got dark orchestral sounds along with hints of the 1812 Overture. I've even got an idea for the last drill move of the show! They'd make a chevron, then rotate it to make a V. Edit: Two songs that contain the hints of 1812 are "Remember, Remember" and "Knives and Bullets (And Canons Too)"

Also being revealed is the uniform that will be worn by the corps, designed by Brent Becker.

After a two season leave of absence from DCP-I, Nightshade is ready to return to the drum corps field. New Corps Logo: Nightshade would also like to reveal its show for season XI! Presenting: Music from the motion picture V for Vendetta Musical selections will be revealed at a later date.

Ironically, my original show idea for season XI had to do with the undead.

Would it be cool if I brought Nightshade back from the DCP-I VIII graveyard?

My main choice this season is Bluecoats. I've grown to love them over the past four years. If all else fails, I'd be more than happy to return to Southwind if they field a corps this year.

Bluecoats - I first heard them in 2004 and have loved them ever since. I love their brass sound, even if their brass line isn't the best in DCI. Not to mention, their shows are just fun and crowd pleasing. Hope to be part of the 2009 installment. Phantom Regiment - Shows like '89, '91, '93, and '96 helped get me into drum corps. I have always loved their brass and the music they play. I've played music from the '93 show in high school (we even attempted the crab stepping, but was taken out since most of the band couldn't get it. ) , which is my favorite Phantom show ever. Madison Scouts - My favorite corps pre-2004 when I discovered Bluecoats. I didn't really enjoy their 2006 and 2007 shows, but 2008 redeemed Madison for me. That show reminded me of old Madison that I grew up on. Southwind - I marched here, we didn't place as high as we would have liked but it was the greatest summer I've ever had. Hope to see the Yellow Team back in 2009!
