Royalairs wrong spelling, have been back for many years, thanks to the Dorans and the Zimneys, sort of hurting now due to the same. Men of Brass now out. Des Plaines Vanguard came back in '87, marched them in '90 St. Paul Scouts Argonne Rebels .. Kilties alumni corps '92 contra parade corps '93 baritone senior corps '94 to present, DM '94, 95, 97, 98, contra 99 still going very strong. ^0^

Yes, that looks like another trip to So. Cal for me too, for a couple "key" games! I can't wait to get back! B)

Sounds like you are describing an EAST COAST event, doesn't it! :sshh: Don't forget, this crowd was NOT made up of west coast people. It was made up of people from all the "little" corps that went on earlier that week, many tired and disgruntled. I take it you did not march in a "west" corps and come east, or you would not say the things you are saying. Or maybe you are just trolling and now enjoying some delicious Tfood! :sshh:

Right after finals, a Double Double and fries! The line in Arcadia wasn't TOO long. Saw a Regiment guard girl and a couple other drum corps people too. B)

Yes, I did, because VK was there. When they left, I left for our tailgate. As far as price, the $10 was not going to break the bank at all. The venue was much nicer than the Rose Bowl, but if they had a large attendance, they could not have handled it, just like the Rose Bowl could not handle it. :sshh: Oh, and as far as price goes, I paid $20 for semis and had a wristband for finals. The old time drum corps way!!!

The Yardhouse! Man that place had expensive beer and mojitos! Also on cab rides, they ate up all my cash (no speaka Ingles, no knowa where dat' is, driva arouna' 'til finda, NO TAKA CREDITA CARDA, Jua needa extra raseeeta?) Best money I ever spent, except for the blowup monkey, parrot and $110 of margarita fixin's! B) Where did the toy crab go? b**bs
