Are shows getting too complicated to watch?

shows are getting more interesting to me, actually older shows have been waning to keep some kind of 100% attention all the time. I still love them but they're not as good as they are today at keeping some kind of constant interest with eyecandy. -
well that was quite condescending...

Cymbals with Shakos and Plumes don't seem to work together.

The Concert Feature

I don't know I was never a fan of concert features. This is how I was raised. I bit of park and wail is hot, but the standing around for a long time can be a fast forward section for me. -

SLICED!!! ^0^ -
Alright let's talk about some OTHER years. What are some shows which you'd dub as "championship" caliber shows/performances but did not win? IF YOU TALK ABOUT 2007 I WILL SLICE YOUR HEAD OFF 2006 - Phantom Regiment and maybe Blue Devils 2005 - 2004 - Blue Devils 2003 - The Cavaliers and not so much the Cadets but (it could possibly be the cleanest 3rd place show I've ever seen) 2002 - 2001 - Blue Devils and The Cadets 2000 - Blue Devils (though they were up against 2 monster corps) 1997 - The Cadets by far 1996 - 1995 - Blue Devils 1994 - 1993 - Star of Indiana 1992 - The Cadets by far 1991 - The Cavaliers 1990 - Star of Indiana by far. 1989 - Phantom Regiment 1987 - Phenomenal Santa Clara Vanguard

Members who marched this year? No. Hows this? We weren't going to win with or without narration. It sucks that this whole issue of narration seems to overshadow everything else that people actually have actually worked and practiced for, that is marching and playing. Instead with have a massive thread and previous billions of posts on narration. I'm not opposed to it (I was but, marching the show obviously changed that), but I don't understand why it is such a big deal. Overalls, Tights, and a bird on your hat while moving at 215 bpm as you hold a chunk of metal attached to your face. Think about it, it's just narration.

yeah it's even more abstract. it's like the song you hear before you die. i kinda liked playing jay's version better...though, it's more ###### off

You seem so sure of the narration being the only factor? I was there the entire tour. attack the narration all you want, it's the way it was. the only time they booed was quarterfinals and that was involving hashmarks. which was the only new variable. we finished people stood up. so was it still the narration that made them stand up? Did they all of a sudden the one show narration became that much of an issue for them to boo.
