  1. Meaning no offense...just curious. Does the Blue Knights staff spend some time focusing on I & E?
  2. The drill is clean, the guard is pristine. It's amazing but I've come to expect the BD's to amaze
  3. Now that's a vehicle he gave them this year. Thank you for that George.
  4. It's an 09 year. Let them have a great show. Yes......company front
  5. With all of my defiant heart, I love this show. Yeah, really. It's ok to agree with me.
  6. and, if your mom is watching, we still love you Kevin. Have a great show tonight!
  7. With no bias to any corps I've cooked for or loved in the past, I have to admit, SCV gave me goosebumps at the theater last night and I just LOVE this show. And I cannot tell you how many times I've heard Appalacian Spring over the years of band and corps I've sat through and enjoyed during my FMM's tenure in band and DCI but this one gives me the goosebumps. I love this show.
  8. I loved the Blue Stars show last night and I loved seeing the retro look back at Corky. She's not changed a bit.
  9. Think of granny smiths, think of granny smiths. Now stand and cheer. I really enjoy this show. It's saucy and tart.
  10. Congratulations to the long blue line. Well done. And thank you, Fred
  11. To all those who spent countless hours cooking, sewing, baking, running, building, painting, toting, carpooling, fundraising, bingo calling, floor sweeping, bagggage toting, airport shuttling, grocery shopping, wiring, hammering, hospital running and so much more....and very few hours sleeping. I thank you. I am grateful to all of you I met on my journey along the way. Remember, the Titanic was built by professionals;Noah's Ark was built by volunteers.
  12. Just to keep it on the current page and easy to access. Thanks for posting it Rusty
  13. Just made a donation at the paypal link. It's easy and painless. It's hard to imagine that it's two days before quarterfinals and your props are destroyed. I suppose, if I were trying to look on the bright side of things I would be grateful that it happened in Indy where there will be a larger concentration of alumni, supporters, parents, volunteers etc available than in most tour locations to make reconstruction more possible than say had it happened on the road in the middle of a four or five day show progression. I'd also be grateful for technology that lets us all know about the need and makes donating to help these kids possible through a few quick clicks. FCO!
  14. http://www.dci.org/news/view.cfm?news_id=9...4f-2ea1759821fe This is a link to an article I wrote a couple of years ago for dci.org when my daughter was marching. Perhaps it will help. Let me know if it does. Peace, Dawn
  15. My mama always said you have to keep several candles lit in case the one you're using burns out. I guess ragging on INT and it's harmless banter keeps things interesting when the synth, vocalization, narration and G bugle threads get old. Seriously. When I don't like something on a buffet I pass on by. When I see something on a forum I don't care for I pass on by too. Peace
  16. Buying ibuprofin in the 300 count bottles, making rice krispie treats for 300 and that lump in my throat that can only be described as pride when my favorite corps takes the field.
