  1. I'm selling a few patches I have had for a while that I never really used so I figured someone else might want them. Pictures Coming soon! The one I am currently selling are: the 4 2005 Regional patches ( Allentown, San Antonio, Indianapolis, and Kalamazoo.) a Crossmen patch a Spirit Patch a Blue Devils Patch and a phantom Regiment patch. Message me if your interested or want more info.
  2. I've heard though that RCC's drumline is pretty much made up of people who have or are marching blue devils or other corps'.
  3. Thanks so much for all this help. I will be sure to tell you all how it goes at this camp next week!
  4. My chops are coming back, I just wish I had more time on a mellophone =(. but I play my trumpet enough for now. That marching and playing thing is so true. I tried the other day and It's like I forgot how to keep the feet out of the sound. But soon enough hopefully it will all come back. The camp I'm attending is next week! ahh so excited
  5. Sweet thanks, Yea my last year in 2005 I marched with spirit, But all the staff and people I know aren't there anymore. Most my friends I know down here where I live march cadets and crown, So i'm going to the crown camp. Thanks for all the good wishes! sorry to here about ur mom too. It is tough, But I'm glad i'm going back. It's what she would have wanted me to do to begin with. She came to some of my shows and always enjoyed watching me performing Thanks guys!
  6. Thanks! Yea my chops took a while to get back into it, still not quite where they used to be ( only been playing for 2 months since I stopped.) but I'm feeling better. The one thing I had a problem with is finding a mellophone if ur not in any band. I've haven't had one to play on till like a week ago, but i still think I'll be ok. hopefully. Just have to cram that solo into my memory! lol. Thanks again for the good luck wishes!
  7. hey! My names justin and I marched back in 2003 and 2005, but kind of lost touch with the activity for a few years after my mom got ill and passed. I planned on marching this year though since it is my ageout and just recently got back to playing music again. I realized how much I missed it and am back in business =). Has anyone been through a long break in marching and jumped back in, and do you have any tips for my audition? Anything would be great. Thanks!
  8. So This summer will be my first time marching in DCI since 2005, Is there anything I should know that I have missed? lol I'm going to be driving up to SC for the Crown Camp. It's my age out year, but what does a corps usually go through when they think of who to pick? (Rookie Age out with experience/ Rookie with Experience and so on) Do you think me being a Rook out will effect them that much in their decision even though the top 3 normally have the most amount of ageouts to begin with?
  9. I think that's my old high school! they are almost Glassmen uniforms but instead of black/white,they are Blue/Cream.
  10. apology accepted. So are you auditioning somewhere this summer?
  11. Why did you put Yuck after spirit? Quit being disrespectful, those kids still work just as hard as any other kids in your favorite world class corps and work a hell of a lot harder then they do in your undefeated marching band your so proud of. Learn to treat every corps for what they are or you will never march anywhere. now back on topic. Wherever you pick to audition just enjoy the experience. You'll learn so much from the staff even in one camp.
  12. your right, in 2003 we weren't on the DVDs.
