For being my first performance for drum and bugle corps with the Lakeshoremen I was just in AWW that I was on the field. The whole corps standing on the field working as one unit there is nothing like it, Knowing that the fans are listening to you. After the Parade I was over yesterday we walked behind the stadium to where we entered and just looking back its amazing. I just thought you people would like to here what my experience with performing at Michigan City was like.

DCI should buy some air time on TV get some new poeple exposed to the sport instead of just showing highlights of finals show they should be showing the whole shows in finals on ESPN and they should have other full major DCI shows. :) maybe its wishful thinking

I think the Bluecoats new uniforms go well with them this year Dark and evil and just absolutely playing the snot of their show! BLOOOO!!!!! of what I've heard I defiantly enjoy the Bluecoats show a lot better than BD in my opinion and it showed in the scores of last nights show :)

Scott Boerma he was the director of band at Eastern Michigan University and this coming up school year he is going to The University of Michigan to be their new director of bands. Is he Still involved with Madison Scouts?

I am going to Say Troopers in Toledo, OH because they were my 1st live Drum and Bugle corps and the opener was Joy which I played for my Spring concert the 1st words to come out of my mouth "OHH!" then my friend told me to be quiet then I felt like an idiot. I'm also going to say seeing Bluecoats was just plain unreal at the Toledo, OH show the amount of pure sounds it was the most I ever heard in my life! Which wasn't that much seeing just Glassmen, Troopers , Cavies I heard to compare that with but ya those are my Goose bumps for 2007 so far hopefully many more to come!

This is my 1st year of Drum Corps and I'm Marching DCA with Lakeshoremen and I love it! This will Help me prepare my self of Auditioning for DCI Div. 1 Corps . Now I keep on finding my self want more and more practice instead of weekends its kinda like a drug once you start you cant stop! It has also been my dream ever since roughly around 6th grade watching on ESPN to march with those Corps.....who know as a result of Lakeshoremen I could be there if I continue to work hard , Soak up the Knowledge I'm given B)

To grow as a human being, to come together to complete a task as a unit, it is also a challenge, and its just plain fun, to grow as a musician in your talents, that is why I March Drum corps. The Real question should be Why don't people march drum corps that don't B)
