go with what ya got whether it's good enough or not is pretty much what we live by..no 3 vs no worries though...the guys work it out and make it good with what they got now if someone wanted to send us some, we of course wouldn't say no

we will definitely send out the invite when we can get a show put together.. you will most certainly be welcome and I promise to take good care of ya..logistics won't be rough at all... you will see us out and about in the future, but we have a little more to get through and then mgmt needs to get busy planning... They did it! They had a great show in spite of the rain...(we don't do rain...40 mph wind yeah, but rain is new to us) Drew, our Director was very proud of everyone.. now it's get them home.. parade and field performance on the 4th...followed by party and fireworks of course! rehearsal again Thurs.. big performance on Sat the 12th at DATR.. and corps party on the following Sat.. man these guys are busy!!

UGH! Rain Delay... our corps went down knowing "there's always someone better than you" and mgmt decided if we could get the corps down and back without issue then we win...didn't count on this haven't heard anything for awhile so hopefully things are back under way... I soooo hope everyone gets to perform and they all have a great show... PLEEEEEEEEEEEEAAASE! k, Drew, here goes the prayer...

at the risk of sounding harsh...people plan, God laughs... have never heard of a roadmap to success in DC, so just do it...there isn't anything so critical it can't be changed if it's not working... looking back get your 501 underneath you.. make sure you have two really good friends to cry with, scream with, and kick small animals if need be okay don't kick animals, but it can be really frustrating to have to cancel rehearsal cuz two people will be out and it just took out your sop line... most of all enjoy it for what it is...the rest will come with patience and desire we are still learning tons and hopefully will continue to learn how to get it right, but if I can help ya out in any way I gladly will

HCB landed last night...out to rehearsal this morning... Chris, Manny, and crew have been awesome to work with and are set up to take very good care of us, if anybody was thinking about doing this show and didn't, you definitely should get in next year... they are a great bunch of guys... drive fast Jeff..maybe the wind will keep you guys cool

E.T is on the road...corps flys tomorrow... we have a videographer and photographer going down... will share.. should be a great show!! man that's hot! we hit 95 and 100, but not a gazillion humidity

Jeff, your doing the right things...is just the way it is. Drew has been watching what's up with you guys and we've definitely felt your pain. I'd like to tell you it does get easier, but not really, we've been exactly where you've been and we're bigger now, but that just brings a whole new set of challenges. Your secret to success is as you said "we're not quitting". It's a shame so many people are "lurkers" until you have something they feel is worthy, but you said you have some solid, comitted, people. They are priceless!! They are the ones that you won't have to guard your every move with, pray that you have things balanced correctly as discussed earlier on, and will be there when it's down right ugly and you don't know which direction to take. More of them will come, that's the good news! Just hold on, it takes a lot of patience and sometimes a bunch more than we have. Sure it'd be nice if our groups weren't so isolated in our regions, we had million dollar budgets so the economy wasn't a factor, and had all star staffs, but we don't so we do the best we can with what we've got, even when it's not enough, and keep goin'. I don't think anyone is expecting rock star status from you guys, I know a lot of people who very much want you to be successful...so no, you're organization is not fallling short. It took us a very long time to poke our heads out into public, it was shaky at best and of course we would have liked 30 more members, but you guys are out there now. I think it's awesome you guys are doing TX! If you have 3 people okay, you're doing it. You will always have our full support so if you ever need a lift or a sounding board say the word. Someone in our group will help or at least get you to a person they're comfortable with who might know. Keep rollin' dude, you're doing just fine! BTW...the family thing does hurt, but the reward of seeing Dad beam that his boy's doing it too is soooo worth it!

here's our actual situation.. we do not have any alumni..we're still rookies don't tribute anything.. perform everywhere we possibly can, but do not compete yet because we haven't made the leap to DCA yet.. soon, but not yet.. we are kind of mini.. we do exhibition as a means of performance... so are we exhibition? or mini corps? is my understanding mini does stand still? oh yea, we do that too

I foster Cocker Spaniels and have two of my own... it's come to my attention that 80 Cocker's have been removed from a hoarder in Weatherford TX and need homes.. maybe this all over your news down there or maybe quietly swept away..I don't know.. Picked up another Bass yesterday..woo hoo! things are looking good...a Bari too, but you drummers out there aren't interested in the hornline are ya? we have two more performances..finals through colorguard circuit and finals through percussion circuit.... then.... it is all about Brass Hysteria in TX and opening Drums.. get to that open house!!! you don't want to miss what we have going on! April 6th.. be there! do it!

I can assure you we have room for all skill sets...our instructors are awesome at reading ability and incorporating all different aspects into the show.. We confirmed yesterday we are indeed going to Brass Hysteria in TX.. We are right there with ya..expanding out to 6 hour blocks starting in May to prep for Brass Hysteria.. I can't wait! Our guys can't wait! First road trip ever! SWEEEEET!!!

we're hoping to go next year...cannot make any guarantees...we need to fill the ranks, watch the fuel / travel costs, fundraise... everything every other corps has to go through.. DCA is not our only objective we are wrapping up exhibition in guard circuit now and looking at expanding into our field show over the next month... you really should come check it out...it's tough to get any kind of an accurate read on a forum board
